Although I have a successful career as a healthcare professional, I always wanted to learn how to be a bartender and work part time behind a bar. After I decided to take a bartending course and researched my options, I decided to attend All-Star bartending (1-800-BARTEND) in Farmingdale. This turned out to be an excellent decision. My instructor Lou was fantastic. He made the class very fun and shared with us his wisdom of over 30 years of tending bar. His stories, the no pressure atmosphere of the class and Lou's bartending magic made learning fun and very easy. I can't believe how fast this week went. Lou, thanks for everything...you're always welcome to drink in my bar!
If you want to pursue a career in bartending or just learn how to bartend to impress your family and friends, I highly recommend this class....you won't be disappointed.
P.S. I got a part time bartending job 3 days after "graduation", so my second career is off and running...thanks All-Star..you guys are the best!

“My experience training at 1800BARTEND was unforgettable. The information and skills i’ve learned here has helped me pursue a career in Bartending. I found my teachers Bryan & Gregg, to be extremely helpful and encouraging. Together they made training fun and very effective. The first day of class i felt overwhelmed but by the second day I started to pick it up. But now after training with them for a week i was able to become more comfortable behind the bar, because of allstar Bartending school i was given the opportunity to gain experience working at a real bar and from that experience it had inspired me to work hard and take it as far as I can go. I absolutely recommend this class to anyone interested in becoming a bartender because the opportunities and possibilities are endless.

“I really enjoyed the past two weeks in this Bartending class, the teachers were great and very very patient (I give them alot of credit ). Also I met alot of great people and hope to see everyone around. I liked how we did guest Bartending at Nubar and Ollies Point, it helped me out a lot. Im soooo happy I made the choice to become a Bartender. Im sure I’ll be back for refresher classes.
Thanks everyone!!! “

“My favorite part of this class was the no pressure atmosphere of this place. The people, both classmates and instructors were understanding and very helpful. This helped create a wonderful place to learn. The no-pressure aspect of standing behind the bar and knowing I’m only working with color dye and water made it much more fun. It was also very nice to learn about something I like, and have always wanted to learn about. Prior to this, my experiences were limited to what other’s would teach me. Now I have a commanding knowledge of how to work a bar and I can work with confidence.”

“I’m glad I took time away from my other job to complete this Bartending course. I was really excited to start class, and i didn’t really mind waking up early because I had fun here not realizing how much I learned. Even though my drive is about 30 min Im extremely happy I choose this Bartending school location. I found my teachers were supportive and very creative which allowed me to memorize drink recipes. I’m sad this is my last day.”

“What I liked most about this class was the atmosphere, the teachers and students. I felt really comfortable right away. I always got the help when i needed it, and time always flew by so fast that when it was time to leave I still wanted to stay.

“The Instructors made it extremely easy to learn the trade. It was very conducive to learn how to Bartend correctly. The classrooms "hands on" learning techniques will make it very easy to work any type of bar whether at any establishment. “

I truley enjoyed this class...
Greg is a great instructor who has a ridiculous amount of knowledge in the industry. From lounges to clubs, restaurants, weddings, events, world records ect...
I had alot of fun learning about all the drinks and techniques behind them, and also getting a feel for the business by guest bartending and gaining experience at an actual bar...

"I cant really pick what I liked best about the class because the overall experience was more then I expected. I took the 40 hour week class from 9am to 5pm with Lou as the teacher. Not only was Lou an amazing teacher he made the days go by so fast with his awesome personality and very useful tips in becoming a great bartender. I go to school for Nursing and needed something that will provide fast money and also give me time to concentrate on school and interning. After my week at All Star Bartending not only am I excited to start working but I am confident that I will be able to make good money and be able to enjoy it as well. I strongly do suggest and will promote All Star Bartending to anyone who is interested in this profession, you will learn all the tools in being a good bartender and you will enjoy every minute of it as well."

I enjoy the laid back style of the classes at All Star Bartending. The set up is realistic and comfortable enough for students with no experience working in any kind of bar setting. The instructors are informative and knowledgeable about Bartending and the situations students may encounter when they are working. Thanks for the training and the experience.

I learned a lot from the instructors at All Star Bartending. From the TIPS class to the very interesting, very informational wine seminar to the Bartending class itself. Lou and Gregg keep things upbeat and interesting and fun for everyone. This service not only supplies me with a job that is interesting but I also had fun and met new friends from many different backgrounds. I intend to mention this service to everyone.
Thank you for everything,

I took the full time class with Diego I started with very little experience and knowledge of mixing drinks but Diego was an excellent instructor. At the end of Monday I had very little expectations that I'd be ready to graduate Friday but he pushed and pushed and not only did I finish but I improved my drink making time the more he drilled us. I had a great time and made new friends there. I can't WAIT to start working! Thanks!
